Despite the rise of on-demand services, laundry remains one of the least digitized chores. People still text local cleaners, wait for missed pickups, and hope their clothes come back in one piece.

These journeys visualize how users move through their laundry tasks i.e. what keeps them going, what slows them down, and where frustration peaks. It helped me pinpoint opportunities to simplify steps and make the experience more reliable.

Before moving to high-fidelity prototypes, I shared these sketches with five users for feedback. Most described the flow as intuitive and said it felt “as easy as ordering food.” Some also suggested adding more customizations and reminders - ideas I decided to save for a later iteration due to time constraints.

Explore an AR-based assistant for self-washing, helping users identify fabric types, select detergent, and guide each wash cycle through real-time visual prompts.

I learned how important it is to stay organized throughout the design process i.e. keeping track of research, flows, and small decisions helped me see how everything connected.
